From Jct I-80 (Exit 210A) & US 15: Go 1/4 mile south on US 15 to New Columbia exit. Turn right on New Columbia Rd for 4 1/2 miles, then right on Millers Bottom Road for 1/2 mile. Park is on the right. Please use above directions, not GPS units.
When traveling on I80 from the West - DO NOT take exit 199. Be sure to stay on I80 until you reach exit 210A then follow the directions above.
When traveling on Route 15 from either the North or South - Be sure to exit ONLY off the New Columbia exit then follow the directions above. Any other exit (White Deer/Watsontown or Hospital Drive/Col John Kelly Road) will Not take you on the most direct route.

New Trail Brewing Company
New Trail Brewing Company is one of the most popular options in the local area when it comes to finding a great brewery. You’ll be impressed by their wide range of beers, which they are constantly adding to each year. They offer canned and kegged beers and their staff will be on hand at any time to suggest the best option for you based on your personal preferences. The company was founded on the idea of selling great beer for anyone to enjoy after exploring new trails in the local area. It’s the perfect stop after one of the many trails in the neighborhood, allowing you to relax after a long day out in nature.
Boom City Brewing Company
Another of our favorite breweries in Williamsport is Boom City Brewing Company. They offer a range of micro-brewed beers, including their own series of signature beers. At least five of their beers are available on tap at any time, so you’ll have no trouble finding an option to suit your needs. When visiting here, we highly recommend you stay to eat as well. They are well-known in the local area for their signature steaks, which are covered with their house rub and then fire-grilled. That being said, they all offer some great options for vegetarians or those looking for a lighter meal to enjoy with their local beer. If you don’t know what to go for when it comes to a beer here, try one of their flights which will allow you to sample a variety of their brews.
Bullfrog Brewery
After a long day of exploring, there’s nothing better than heading to a cozy local restaurant or bar for a beer and burger. Bullfrog Brewery is one of our go-to restaurants in the local area, offering great meals and beers. We particularly recommend trying out their brunch menu if it fits in with your visit, which attracts locals and visitors alike each week. The restaurant is very casual and relaxed, making it a good option for anyone who’s been out in nature all day long and just wants to put their feet up and rest. We appreciate the warm and friendly service here as well and the staff will go out of their way to ensure you find the perfect beer for you.
John Ryan Brewery
The final brewery on our list today is John Ryan Brewery, which can be found in Old City Williamsport. This location is a little different to the others on our list, as it offers an artisan restaurant. It’s the perfect choice for a more fancy dinner during your vacation, as it’s located in a restored French Second Empire mansion. You’ll be impressed by the building itself as you approach it, but even more so when you step inside and taste their beers and food. They have an on-site brewery which creates a great range of beers, and it’s one of our favorite local businesses to support. The staff here are incredibly polite and welcoming and will be excited to share information and the food and drinks they service.
There’s no shortage of great breweries to try during your stay in the Williamsport area. We highly recommend stopping at any of the locations we’ve shared above, which will allow you to support local businesses and enjoy a drink during your adventures. They all offer something different, so you could easily stop by all four of these locations in a week and have completely unique experiences.
